Self Grooming Workshop for 2 Days

Today I want to share some good news with all my readers. Lots of people have been requesting me to do a workshop on Self Grooming. So finally I have decided to conduct a 2 day workshop and whoever is interested in joining can do so. 

When I did not know anything much about makeup but still I used to be very enthu of getting ready and used to try many things on myself not knowing whether whatever I am doing is right or wrong. Sometimes things used to turn well and sometimes it use to be a disaster.  Those were the days when I use to think wish I knew Makeup, at least how to get ready on my own. 

My passion towards makeup has made me into a Professional Make up Artist and today I feel privileged to impart that knowledge to others so they too can learn the art to get ready and enhance their natural beauty with right makeup techniques. 

So guys this is the opportunity for all you girls out there who wants to join the Self Grooming Workshop and learn the art of being presentable be it any routine day or if you are planning to attend a party or any event.

Today I am going to review NYX Wonder stick which is a Contour and Highlight Duo. If you love contouring and highlight then this is one product that you should have in your kitty. 

There are many products from this brand that I really like.  Priced reasonably and the quality of the product are really good. Which makes it a favorite of many users. Here in Mumbai there are very few places that you will get this brand. It has a presence in Bandra Shoppers Stop and Beauty Palace in Khar. 

My sister had purchased this first . When I used it, immediately fell in love with it. Handy compact and easier to use. I picked it up from UAE and has been using this product for some time now.

This is going to be a Huda Series :)) This is my third post on Huda Product. Did not planned to do it back to back but it just happened. Off late my schedule is super busy with lots of event that I have been attending off late.

That does not stops me to connect with you guys. Ok now lets gets started .Today I am going to review Huda Beauty 3D Highlighter - Golden Sands. Well ! I did not had to purchase this one , it came as a gift to me by my little sister on my birthday ...lucky me :)

Was pretty surprised when I received this gift as I wasn't expecting it. My little sister stays in Dubai and during my birthday she was not around but it was very thoughtful of her to send via someone and it reached perfectly on my birthday. Getting gifts is so much fun and it makes it all the more exciting when you are not expecting it.

Packaging : Comes in a cardboard palette just like the Huda Beauty Rose Gold Edition Palette with little more bling on the cover and the sides. Though this packaging is impressive and upto the point, emphasised on the product is the focus of the packaging which is good and impressive.

The debut palette of beauty guru and entrepreneur Huda Kattan was launched,  it created a huge buzz and hype in the market.  Everybody wanted to lay their hands on this palette which made it go out of stock for some time before it was available again.

The palette boast of highly pigmented mattes, chrome pressed pearls and 3D metal shades in Rose Gold Edition. One of a kind and a unique combination made it even more tempting for the buyers specially for Indian market where these shades were apt for the Brides.

My visit to Dubai gave me an easy access to buy this palette thus skipping the process of online ordering. This topped my bucket list in shopping and very soon it was the part of my make up kit.

Today I break my sabbatical after a long long time. Sometime in life there are other priorities which needs more focus and attention. Motherhood had kept me busy and on my toes but I have enjoyed each and every moment of it.

Taking a short break and having a chill pill time in the land of desert which is like a second home to me. My Son is now one year three months old. Time fly's and I feel he is growing up fast. Life has changed completely post delivery. Everything is on a fast track.... but I am kind of enjoying this phase of life. Been really busy as there was a wedding in the family but now all settled and here I am. Will be sharing few pictures of the wedding attire at the end of this post.

Wake me up ! Foundation from Rimmel London

We girls are always in search of a good foundation though the existing one that we are using might be good enough but still we look out for a change and I am no different from any other girl out there.

Rimmel Wake me up Foundation, wait ! What kind of a name is that now? Got me inquisitive and I so wanted to try this out to check for myself how much it is worth but getting my hands on this was a task. I am little finicky when it comes to foundation and like to buy once I have had patch test done.

I love Rimmel products. Decently priced and few of their products are worth a try. I can swear by it :) Rimmel counters are few around hence getting your hands on them is an efforts, but worth taking it. 

Luckily ! When I was in Dubai on my last visit, spotted this foundation there. Headed straight to the Rimmel Counter just like a little girl who spotted her favorite candy :)

Getting a Flawless Evening Look

Flawless skin is the key to look good. If you are blessed with one, trust me half  the job is done without making much efforts. Not all of us are blessed with good skin and hence we need little help in covering up our flaws be it …dark circles, pimples, pigmentation or any other marks on the face. 

Many women walk with great confidence. The confidence just doubles up when you know you are looking good, its human tendency :)

When my dear friend Smita visited me from Pune, we had lot of girly talks to catch up on and among many topics one was related to make up and skin. Smita had lot of freckles, pimples and pigmentation on her face and complained of Pune weather not suiting her.

Our friendship goes a long way when we were in school. Back then she had a flawless and lustrous skin which I used to admire a lot. 

Smita wanted to check whether make up would cover up all her flaws and hence we got started. She was super excited and throughout the process we kept chit-chatting like any other long lost friends. I was quiet happy with the end results and she was thrilled looking at herself.

Wondering where did I disappeared for such a long time, well let me share some good news with all my readers. On Jan 11th 2016,  I delivered a cute baby boy. 

Yes ! the time I got pregnant, wanted to take it slow and steady and hence thought to take a sabbatical from blogging. After delivery,  was just not able to make time to get back to Splendid Persona but thanks to all my readers who kept inquiring. 

Trust me , so happy to get back. Though time is going to be a constraint but at least in a week two post will be there on Splendid Persona to start with.

It's a pleasure.... finally there are lot of international brands opening their store in Mumbai, the recent ones to join is Bobbi Brown. They have opened their store in Phoenix Palladium @ Lower Parel. 

When I visited their store, the SA seems very hassled. Since the store is newly opened, there are many visitors. Anyways !  let's not get into the nitty gritty of this . 

My recent purchase from Bobbi Brown was a Foundation stick which I happened to pick up from Thailand Siam Center. I mainly use this stick for contouring as its convenient to use with precise application.

7th Heaven's - Lipsticks

When you hear just the brand 7th HEAVEN'S, your imagination can run to many directions imagining various thing you could relate to. This has got nothing to do with spa or salon. A beauty brand which is not so famous and popular yet. 

Stumbled upon this brand during one of my window shopping and could not resist myself. Beautiful colors grab your attention and it does not take much time to make up your mind which colors to choose. Does not get that easy and simpler than this :)   ( A confession of  a window shopaholic).
