Getting a Flawless Evening Look

Flawless skin is the key to look good. If you are blessed with one, trust me half  the job is done without making much efforts. Not all of us are blessed with good skin and hence we need little help in covering up our flaws be it …dark circles, pimples, pigmentation or any other marks on the face. 

Many women walk with great confidence. The confidence just doubles up when you know you are looking good, its human tendency :)

When my dear friend Smita visited me from Pune, we had lot of girly talks to catch up on and among many topics one was related to make up and skin. Smita had lot of freckles, pimples and pigmentation on her face and complained of Pune weather not suiting her.

Our friendship goes a long way when we were in school. Back then she had a flawless and lustrous skin which I used to admire a lot. 

Smita wanted to check whether make up would cover up all her flaws and hence we got started. She was super excited and throughout the process we kept chit-chatting like any other long lost friends. I was quiet happy with the end results and she was thrilled looking at herself.

Good Afternoon !

Wondering where did I disappeared for such a long time, well let me share some good news with all my readers. On Jan 11th 2016,  I delivered a cute baby boy. 

Yes ! the time I got pregnant, wanted to take it slow and steady and hence thought to take a sabbatical from blogging. After delivery,  was just not able to make time to get back to Splendid Persona but thanks to all my readers who kept inquiring. 

Trust me , so happy to get back. Though time is going to be a constraint but at least in a week two post will be there on Splendid Persona to start with. 

If there is any request as to what post you would like to see or a product review or any other request then please feel free to drop me a comment and I will try to incorporate on my blog.

Today's post is about a beautiful lipstick shade from colorbar which would definitely compliment this summer season. Loud , bold and very summery.

Some of us have cold feet trying out the bright lip colors. When we see it on others, we tend to like it but wearing it on ourselves gives us a second thoughts. Trust me ! it will equally look good on you, all we need to do is change our mindset.

I too had reservations buying this shade but since the time I have started wearing it, have been getting loads of compliments. Totally in love with this shade.

It's a pleasure.... finally there are lot of international brands opening their store in Mumbai, the recent ones to join is Bobbi Brown. They have opened their store in Phoenix Palladium @ Lower Parel. 

When I visited their store, the SA seems very hassled. Since the store is newly opened, there are many visitors. Anyways !  let's not get into the nitty gritty of this . 

My recent purchase from Bobbi Brown was a Foundation stick which I happened to pick up from Thailand Siam Center. I mainly use this stick for contouring as its convenient to use with precise application.
