Revlon Photo Ready Kajal + Intense Brightener

Hello Friends ,

Just back from my trip to Goa. It was a fun and had a great time. Will share more on this in my upcoming post along with the bridal pictures which I am sure you guys will be eager to see.  Watch this space for more :)

Today I am going to review Revlon Photo Ready Eye Pencils which I purchased few days back but because of the hectic schedule did not get time to review them. Oooops ... better late than never... Right!!!! So lets get started.

Usually when you buy colorful pencils it takes ages to get over and by then there is already a new trend or color in the market that you are eager to buy. The quantity is enough to last long and yet not get the product wasted. What I like about this pencils that it comes with a brightener which is a brilliant concept.

Price : Rs. 395/-

My Take on the product

You get two different shades in one pencil for an affordable price. A dual ended eye pencil, dark creamy eyeliner on one side and a brightener on the other side of the pencil.  Easy to carry and travel friendly.

I picked up two shades in this pencil, Emerald Empire and Blue Nile. Among the two I like the Emerald duo  much better. The duo is available in four intense shades... Carbon Cleopatra, Blue Nile, Purple Reign and Emerald Empire. You can have your pick as desired.

These are pigmented and glides on smoothly. Would not qualify this as pigmented as the other pencils from Lakme or Bourjois. Having said that these are equally good and worth a buy and try :)

The lighter shade in the pencil can be used on the waterline, gives an illusion of a bigger eyes. These are matte shades and glides on smoothly without tugging. The brightener does a great job on the waterline, very natural without being to stark.

A pop of color over the eye and a brightener on the waterline is all you need, to make you look fresh, attractive and ready in a minute.

Pros
Duo color
Brightener on one end
Travel friendly
Affordable
Good pigmentation
Color options to choose from

Cons
The pigmentation could have been better

SP Rating : 3.5 / 5

Final Verdict

Colored pencil and the brightener in  one pencil is a unique and appealing concept. No harm in trying it out especially when it is affordable and you are getting two shades in the price of one :))

That's all from my end... lots to come in upcoming post. Product review, recipes, bridal make up..... so stay tuned .

Heading to Delhi and then Agra.... will be visiting Taj Mahal for the first time ever in my life. Excited and thrilled to see one of the wonders of the world.  Signing off for now... you guys take care and be in touch.

  1. Hmmm...they sound interested! I'm still uninterested in whether I'd buy one to try or not, but I like that there's a brightener.
