Elie Saab Le Parfum

Elie Saab Le Parfum is a debut from the Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab, who became famous for his elegant designs in gowns. The fragrance was created by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. It's a mature and sophisticated perfume, heavy enough for a night out, but can also be worn during the summer. It is strong when you put it on but fades to the perfect scent after a few minutes and stays on you literally all day.

It comes in a nice simple yet classy packaging. The bottle is transparent & the perfume inside is in nice Golden color. The simple glass bottle of Baroque style was designed by Syvie de France. The campaign features the famous model Anja Rubik. It comes in two concentrations, one is milder and the other one is in much stronger concentration. If you don’t like the stronger one you can always go for the milder version, thou the fragrance is the same.

It's got a unique, sophisticated combination of ingredients. It's a rich full bodied perfume that opens with orange blossom and jasmine. As the scent develops, it smells a little sweeter (patchouli?) and finally finishes to a light cedar-wood scent that is ever-so-slightly spicy. If you don't like white floral (particularly jasmine), I would say, stay away from this. The main factor I will buy this is due to its staying power thou I must say it is little strong so only a few sprays are needed or else you can go for milder version.

It is available in 30, 50 and 90 ml Eau de Parfum. Thou between 50 & 90 ml there is a difference of only INR 1000/- .  The 90ml bottle comes for INR 5500/-.

Notes

At the heart: Jasmine and Patchouli

Base notes: Cedar Wood

Final Verdict
