Lakme Absolute Face Stylist Compact & Pro Arte Pencil Brush

Lakme is one brand which has been ruling the market since ages and keep coming up with new products every season. The change of products and packaging has been their mantra since old times. The other brands adapted this concept quiet later on.

The product which you bought earlier,  after certain time the same product might not be there. I remember during my college or rather school days there was this lipstick that I was totally hooked on to,  the shade was BO4 and it was a gorgeous color in mud brown.

This shade from Lakme ruled many hearts, later the packaging was changed with the new one. Along with the packaging the color underwent a drastic change. It was no longer that earthy warm shade that stole everyone's heart.

With their new Absolute Face Stylist Range, Lakme has shot up its price quiet a bit. Are these products worth the hike ??? lets find out...

I am currently using  Lakme Absolute Face Stylist Compact (which is my recent buy) in place of Lakme Absolute Wet and Dry Compact which was priced at Rs. 750/-

Lakme Claims....

Protective, weightless and skin smoothing finish with the highest skin affinity.

Shade : 03 Golden Medium

Price : Rs. 1000/-

My Opinion on Lakme Absolute Face Stylist Compact

Packaging : Super classy and chic, comes in black rounded compact case with a mirror and a sponge, which makes it a travel friendly product.

Texture : Finely milled powder housed in a compact, soft and silky texture blends really well without looking cakey or patchy.

Light weight powder, does a great job in setting the foundation. Gives a nice matte finish and helps to keep oil at bay. It does cover up light blemishes and spots. The staying power is good, last upto 6-7 hours after which touch up is required.

SP Rating : 4/5

Final Verdict
The packaging is stylish and the quality of the product is very good, comparable to any high end brand. The price though seems to be little on the higer side but the product is worth the money.

Pro Arte Pencil Make Up Brush

The next product in line is a pencil brush from Pro Arte Make Up Tools and Accessories. Which is my recent buy when I last visited Beauty Palace in Oshiwara.

Pro Arte make up brushes,  is the largest range of brushes of any artists brush manufacturer, providing natural hair or synthetic filaments in a wide variety of sizes and shapes. There are number of different ranges of brushes such as Nylon Flat, Student Wash, Squirrel Hair  and Pony Hair Brushes... to name few.

Price : Rs. 275/-

My Opinion on Pro Arte Pencil Make Up Brush

Mac pencil brush has been on my wish list since long. When I spotted Pro Arte Make Up Brushes while visiting Beauty Palace @ Oshiwara, I was skeptical how these brushes would fare. I picked up the pencil brush just to check out how good or bad it is. The packaging is decent and professional.

If you go to buy any good branded brushes they are nothing less than Rs. 1500 - 2000 range, which is way to expensive.

Surprisingly ! while working with the pencil brush, realised these were truly amazing brushes to have for the price thats quiet decent and affordable.

Does a great job in blending the eyeshadow on the lower lash line, or placing any dark eye shadow at any precise point. I am thrilled and happy with my buy. Variety of range available to choose from. The price for the face brushes are higer than the small brushes. Approx range is somewhere between Rs. 375/- to 675/-

SP Rating : 4/5

Final Verdict

If your are looking out for a good and decent brushes at a budget friendly price then this is it. Hurry up !  before stock runs out. Worth every single penny !!!
