Weekend Shopping Haul

The last weekend I planned to visit Khar Beauty Center. The plan was just the regular window shopping along with few stuff which I had planned to buy. Even before you step out of home you are kind of super excited as to what all you want to buy... that's a different thing that you end up getting more stuff then what's mentioned on your list. Well that's how women are, finding happiness even in the small things :)) i know the guys must be rolling their eyes at this statement :) N'ways lets get started...

The khar beauty center which was under renovation for few months has now been opened. I was quiet impressed with the new beauty center as they have now categorised floor-wise.  I did not count the floors but I think it's a 6 storey building now. There are two mezzanine floors one is in between second and third floor, the other one is in between third and the fourth floor.

On one of the mezzanine floor they have shoe section and purse section where as the other mezzanine floor stores home product like bedsheets and towels.. What i liked about the new beauty center is, if you need anything specific you know which floor to visit. There are two lifts and staircase as well with proper instruction mentioned on each floor as to what is available where.

Ground Floor-Perfumes
As you enter the ground floor you are enveloped in different variety of fragrance, you can't resist yourself but at least look at few before you move ahead. There were gift sets available from various brands which is ideally good, if you want to gift some one on their special occassions.

1st Floor - General / Skin / Hair Product

1st floor is full of general products like Deo's, tooth-brush soaps etc... along with the skin care and hair care product.

2nd Floor - Cosmetics

2nd floor is a full on cosmetic floor, you will get various brands like Loreal, Rimmel London, NYX, Max Factor, Ben Nye, Jordana, Revlon,Chambor, Miss Claire, Lakme, Maybelline, Bourjois, there maybe more which i am missing out on but this are the major brands that i can remember.

 3rd Floor - Crockery Section

There were amazing bowl set and cup set. I wanted to pick up a small non stick kadai for my home. Been hunting for some time but was not getting it as per my liking. Finally i picked up one from Beauty center for INR 999/- from Bergner (this i got it in discounted price). Isn't it nice? it has a glass lid also to cover while cooking or once you are done with cooking.

4th Floor - Kids Section
Kids  section was full of toys, gift sets for new born babies. They were still setting up this section when i visited so just had a brief look.

5th Floor - Beauty Parlour Products

All the beauty salon products were available on the 5th floor. Most of the people who run a beauty parlour business happens to visit beauty center for their monthly stock.

This was the brief up on the new beauty center at Khar.

I picked up few stuff from Crockery section for my Home and few cosmetics as listed below:

Loreal Paris Blush in True Rose - i quiet liked this blush very natural

Nike Deodarant in Free Soul - wanted to pick up a deo, so after trying few of them i zeroed on to this one. Quiet fresh smell. There were gift set also, in case if you want to gift someone. The gift set had a deo and a perfume from Nike in different range.

Rimmel London Matte Pressed Powder - Been thinking about picking up this pressed powder from Rimmel since long but the Rimmel outlet being few around, it always used to be on back burner and when i saw the Rimmel Counter i just had to buy it.

Bourjois Waterproof Pencil in 47 Purple Night - This is a beautiful color, it was not on my list but could not resist myself and had to buy it :)

Rimmel Waterproof Mascara - What i liked about this Mascara was the wand applicator, its quiet different and unusual shape. My old Mascara is about to get over so thought of trying it out looks very promising.

Rimmel Make-up Remover - This is an oil free formula to remove your make up Thought of giving it a try.

The detailed review of all the above product coming shortly on the blog so don't miss it.  This was my weekend shopping which i thoroughly enjoyed more over i am super excited to use these products.
