Kiehl's : Samples that I got along with my Purchase and Some Good News

Don't we all love that extra something, specially when we get free samples with our purchases. It adds to the happiness, increase excitement and gives tremendous satisfaction :))  well !  that's human nature... so dont' worry we all  are normal :))

The best thing about the samples are,  that you get to try the product before you decide to buy a full size pack.  Which is like a very good option.

For eg.  on my last purchase from Lancome, I requested a little sample of Vissionaire which the SA was kind enough to give me in a tiny jar. Upon using Vissionaire within two days,  my skin had break outs. To sum it up and to my surprise Vissionaire did not suit my skin well and hence stopped using it with immediate effect.  Now just imagine, had I purchased the product it would have been a waste and money down the drain. 

Coming to today's post, lets review the samples from Kiehl's , the oh so happening product and oh not so happening one.

Kiehls Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash

Brand Claims

My Experience with the Product 

Its a mild foaming transparent face wash which is feather light in weight. A pea size is enough for the entire face. Cleans effectively with making skin dry. It also helps to remove water proof make up to some extent. Skin feels softer and hydrated. Currently loving this face wash and plan to buy a bigger pack once this gets exhausted.

A very good face wash for those having oily to normal skin. Works great for combination skin tone also.

Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol-Free Toner 

 An effective, alcohol-free facial toner

My Experience with the Product 

This toner has calendula leaves floating in the bottle, shake well before use. What I like about this toner, its alcohol free and is mild on the skin. Helps me clean my skin, my pores tightened and redness under control.  Few drops is required for the entire face. You need not wet the cotton completely, it will be a waste of product.

Great for oily to normal skin tones, works great for combination skin types and people who are facing Rosacea problem. Helps control the redness of the face. A very good product for sensitive skin types.

The face wash and toner combo works great together. I am sold out on this one and plan to pick up a full size pack once this is over.

My Experience with the Product

This serum is amazing, transparent and absorbs quickly into the skin. Continuous use of this serum has shown great results on my skin. Now I have a better looking skin with even texture throughout. On application, it feels like it melts into your skin leaving no trace of any stickiness.

My dark spots over all my face has reduced quiet a lot giving me a soft skin with improved texture. Another product I can swear on. A must have in your skin care routine.

My Experience with the BB Cream 

When you are applying the product, you will realise that it gives a burnt smell which is mild but noticeable. The smell disappears quickly once the product is absorbed in the skin.

It's light in weight and absorbs well leaving no trace of any patchiness of cakey feeling. BB Creams usually have limited shade, so getting the right shade as per your skin tone is always a challenge. Its good for those having sensitive skin. You don't really need a sun screen when you are using Kiehl's BB Cream.

Having said all the above good things about the product some how I did not find this product to be that great or have made a mark like other products from Kiehl's. It made me look a bit darker, maybe the shade was not the right one.  This is one product that I don't plan to repurchase  full size.

Good News .... 

Finally !!!! I plan to pursue my dream of being a Professional Make Up Artist.   I have quit my job, taken a sabbatical for some time. I am good at make up but there is fine tuning required , thanks to all the compliments and comments that you guys drop. This has motivated me in taking a step ahead towards my dream.

Kiehl's : Three Products That I Purchased

Hello Beauties !

I know the blog space is little slow but am really tied up with loads of things at my end. Which includes shopping, wedding preparations, make up trials and what not. So kindly bear with me.

Coming to my second post , would like to share with you the three products that I purchased from Kiehls. Those three product in which I have put my faith into and believed,  that they would do wonders for my skin. 

We all go through skin problems at certain points, be it pimples, dry skin, pores, fine lines and so on. There are different products for different concerns. Lets be clear here, there is no one product which does the miracle and solve all your skin problems.

As doctors treat you with different medicines for your sickness the same applies to your skin too. My skin concerns were my pores and fine lines. These were the products that I thought would be good to invest .

1) Kiehl's Powerful -Strength Line Reducing Concentrate - 50ml -  Rs. 4050/-

2) Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate 30 ml - Rs. 2990/-

3) Kiehl's Rare Earth Pore Minimizing Lotion  -  75ml -  Rs. 2140/-

Kiehl's : Introduction of the Products & My Current Skin Care Regime

There are so many brands in the market which advertise about themselves and get popular. There is one such brand who does not believe in marketing themselves but creates trust among their consumers and get known through word of mouth.

As they believe their products and the end results speaks for them. A happy customer will always have praises about the product and the brand. Of course ! don't forget they are the first one to recommend, but that's obvious.

When you come across something good, you would want your siblings, your friends, colleagues and whom ever you come across to know about it. Trust me ! womens can be lot convincing when they want to sell something :) and what better advertisment then making a women happy and you would know by now half the world knows about it :)) 

Got inspired by Fiona from Peaches and Corals and when I came across Kiehls store @ In-orbit Mall, could not resist myself. The SA was very attentive and patient enough in explaining me all about the products and told me what I should be going for,  as per my skin concerns. 

Bought three full size product, to which I got four samples to complete my skin care regime as insisted by the SA. If I see a progress in my skin or if I happen to like the products then I can go for a full size product, which sounds convincing to me. 

I will break this into four post to cover up each product.  So the first post is more like introduction about all the products that I got from Kiehl's. The second one is about the three products that I purchased, the third  will be focusing on the samples that I got with my purchases and the fourth will be a last post about my skin care regime using these products.

This will help me to keep each post short and sweet. Also will be able to explain you better and give accurate insight about each product, if that makes any sense.  Have been using these products for more then ten days now, what are the pros and cons and how effective are these product , you will get to know in my following post where I will be covering my skin care regime.

So shall we see what I bought from Kiehls store. There's a whole lot of products that I have invested in and this is my current skin care regime.
