My colleague Susan gifted me the book " NOT WITHOUT MY DAUGHTER" by Betty Al Mahmoudi with William Hoffer.  

Like reading books which keeps you interested and engaged till the end. A very good book which is hard to keep down qualifies for the best read. 

True story on the harrowing life of Betty Al Mahmoudi in Iran and her escape plan with  five year old daughter Mahtob,  from Iran to America makes it an interesting read.

This book throws a light on the cultural differences in both the countries around that period of time. I am sure there will be lot changes in the present Iran.

Short Break to Kodaikanal

I am back from my kodaikanal vacation and being my latest trip there is so much to share with you guys. 

Kodaikanal is situated in Tamil Nadu and is one of the most popular hill resorts in India. The name Kodaikanal means "the gift of forest". Though I would not qualify this place for honeymoon couples, as I feel this place is more apt to go with family and friends to have a fun adventurous trip.

To start with... we took a little longer adventurous route to reach Kodai, flew to Bengaluru then a train journey from Bengaluru to Kodai and the final lapse by driving up the hills of Kodai before reaching our final destination "The United 21 Resort".  The Resort which was the highlight of the trip is situated right on the edge overlooking a beautiful scenic valley. We were accompanied by friends on this trip which made it even more enjoyable and fun.

Rihanna of Arabia - Harper Bazaar Cover Look

When I first saw the recent cover photo of Haper Bazaar, was immediately drawn to the sexy and dramatic eye make up of Rihanna.  She looked drop dead gorgeous and stylish.

Was itching to try this look but being ramadaan had taken a break . Now since ramadaan is over, the first look that I wanted to try was "Rihanna of Arabia". She had this dramatic yet warm sun kissed look which looked quiet mesmerizing.

So lets take a look at my expiriment.  When I started off with this look, thought it might be easy to create it but turned out to be quiet challenging then expected.
