Victoria Secret Moisturizing Body Lotion

I picked this body lotion from Dubai, there was an offer going on 3 for AED 145. That means one bottle I have got for AED 55 otherwise the actual price is AED 85, So i picked up 3 one for me and other for my sisters. The fragrance is nice, sweet and quiet different then the others that i have tried so far.

It has got Shea Butter and Almond Oil , both are good for the skin. Hydrates your skin and keep it moisturized the whole day.

Before I go to sleep...

Just finished reading this book called "BEFORE I GO TO SLEEP" by SJ Watson. 

I liked reading thriller, suspense , mystery, historic fiction and of course romance :) Picked up this book as i found the plot interesting, but after reading......... this is what I have to say. 


The plot of the book when it starts is very interesting but some where along the line looses the grip and becomes very monotonous. Once you have finished reading the book there is an incomplete feeling to the story.  Did not excite me much.

I am back from my vacation to Dubai. It was a vacation and a family get together. My younger sister was getting engaged and it was my privilege to make her ready. Small and private affair with very few close family and friends.

When we look at the brides during the wedding or engagement we cant even think how much efforts has been put to make her ready and the final look has undergone so many product to get the final look. My exploits continued in Dubai. Next on my list was Global Village which is located at Dubai-land and is little far off from the city. The entry fee is AED 15 per person. It opens at around 4 pm in the evening and is on till 11 or i think 12 at night. Its a huge place so there are four entry gates. If you want to roam the whole place peacefully you need to be there by 4 or maximum by 5 pm. This place is open only for 4 months from November to February being winters in Dubai. If you want to visit Dubai then this is the best period to visit Dubai otherwise it is  very hot throughout.

Launched in 1997, Global Village made its debut on the Creek Side opposite Dubai Municipality, and later moved to Oud Metha then Dubai Festival City, until it found a permanent home in 2005 on Emirates Road’s Exit 37. Over the past 15 years, Global Village has been providing cultural entertainment along with an international shopping experience to millions of visitors.

Canon EOS 700D Camera

I am Dwarkesh Jhaveri, friends call me DJ.  Am very passionate about photography and to me each day is a learning experience in this field. Today I share with you all my experience about my new Canon EOS 700D camera.

It’s a simple question. Why am I taking pictures? What’s so special about photography compared to other visual art forms?

The biggest reason, I believe, is just the ability of capturing a moment as it happens with just a single click of a button. Sure, skilled and experience photographers may capture the scene in a more artistic manner compared to the casual snapper, but the key point is, you captured what you want to remember right then and there!

Our brain and its stored memory are amazing, you can piece together fragments of an event and relive the entire day with ease. If it’s a group event, all of you can recall every single detail collectively with just one photograph. The emotions a photograph can throw back at you can be overwhelming at times regardless of technical execution.

The ability of photography to connect to our past, associate us in an event, and preserve memories without words or interpretation makes it an influential hobby for all of us.

I have been using a point and shoot digital camera for last 7 years now have been thinking of upgrading to a DSLR.  I must say that the search had been ongoing for almost 2 years now.   I was not really sure of spending almost 75 K on a camera to satisfy my photography hobby.

Some products are so well known that they become the default choice for a lot of people. Not sure which smartphone to buy? Just get an iPhone.  Canon is another of these elite brands. When it comes to buying cameras – and SLRs in particular – a Canon feels like a safe bet

So finally I picked up Canon EOS 700D

Avon Festive Look

Dear Friends,

We did a photo shoot of my very good friend Dipti. Thought to keep the look simple. Products used were from Avon.

Products Used : Avon Eye shadows, lipstick and foundation

We created two different looks which were simple and yet could be worn on festive occasion. We clicked one in a nice festive dress while the other we clicked in a saree. Not loud yet complimenting the dress and the skin tone. Traditional and yet  graceful. We teamed it up with the accessories and the result is in front of you.

The Dress Look - Eyeshadow used were from Avon Simply pretty and Avon eyeshadow Squad in Romantic Mauve.

The Saree Look - Here on the same look we added the simply pretty eye shadow in pink and green.

Dubai Dairies - Dragon Mart

Hello Friends,

Its been couple of days now that i am on my vacation in Dubai. Yesterday i had been shopping at Dragon Mart which is located at International City. Its a huge mall which covers everything from furniture to jewelry, clothes to home stuff. Unlike malls in India, malls out here are huge and you need to walk a good amount if you want to shop. So wearing something comfortable is advisable.
