Colorbar Velvette Lipstick - Bare Dare Pink 003

Hi Friends, 

Today I am going to review Colorbar Velvette Take Me As I Am lip color in Bare Dare Pink 003. Quiet a mouthful for a lip color :) N'ways... Been observing that I am becoming a huge fan of Colorbar products. In recent times, have picked up quiet a few products and am quiet enjoying it. 

Colorbar Claim 

Take me as I am lip color is a unique multi functional product which provides the application of a lipstick combined with the convenience of a pencil in a jumbo crayon design. It is an extra creamy and soft feeling lipstick formula with excellent color pay-off and coverage. Viscous oils and esters create the beautiful shine. Skin conditioning ingredients like Shea butter and vitamin E further enhance the comfortable wearing properties.

Price : MRP is Rs. 800/- i got it for Rs. 750/-

Shades Available: There are 13 shades available but when you go to the Colorbar counter there only few available.  

Sensuous Red, Flirtatious Pink, Bare Dare Pink, Lip Smacking Cherry, Sizzling Berry, Mysterious Nude, Seductive Tan, Mischievous Wine,Sinful Orange, Pure Coral, Orchid Pink, Tickle Me Pink, Tango Pink. 

My Take on the Product

Wow ! Loved the crayon look reminded me of my school days time. You can have your pick from the wide range of selection from bright to nude colors. I picked up the shade Bare Dare Pink. It's a pretty brownish pinkish nude color for everyday use. The texture is smooth and very creamy.  Since these Lip color are quiet huge in size they provide you with the sharpener  " free free free" with the Lipcolor but then again looking at the price they have to and l i am pretty sure it will last you quiet long even if you are using it everyday. 

Now coming at the flip side of the product, the staying power is not so great. It last for as good as 3-4 hours. Specially after meals you will find the lip color disappearing which is quiet a disappointment for the price you are paying.

Final Verdict

This product is not worth the money, though you can still go ahead and pick it up keeping in mind, touch-up is required after proper intervals. If that's fine with you then you should definitely have a look at the selection, as they have some really nice shades which looks quiet beautiful on the lips.
