Biotique Walnut Bark Shampoo

You name the hair problem and we had it, whether its hair fall, dandruff, thinning of hair, Frizz etc. In today’s time there are so many shampoos from different brands available in the market, but do they actually give you the end result what they claim???

That brings us to our product Biotique Walnut Bark Shampoo which I happen to pick up while shopping for a shampoo which would help me cleanse my oily scalp effectively. So let’s take a look at the pros and cons of Biotique Walnut Bark Shampoo.

What it Claims?

This rich, body-building formula is a blend of pure walnut bark, musk root, amla, soap nut and black malya flowers, to thoroughly cleanse, and revive hair for a fuller, thicker, lifted look.

Pack Size:

F 120ml for Rs. 99/-

F 210 ml for Rs. 159/-

F 1000 ml for Rs. 600/-

My Take on the Biotique Walnut Bark Shampoo

It comes in a standard Biotique bottle which is somewhat transparent and has a spiral-open green colored cap. The shampoo is transparent and clear in nature, bluish violet in color and smells absolutely fresh. I have an oily scalp so this shampoo works fine for me. It’s not very thick and has a running consistency which makes it easier to spread on your hair. It does not have a great fragrance like other shampoos though it has its own distinctly fresh amla-like property in the fragrance.

Pros

Herbal product so no side effects

Goodness of Walnut, Ritha and Amla

Good for people who are having oily scalp
Cleanses very well
Quantity required is less as compared to other shampoos

Not Expensive

Easily Available

Cons

Not recommended for people with dry hair
Not so effective for hair fall
Does not provide conditioning. Separate conditioner is required.

SP Rating: 3.5/5

Final Verdict
It’s great for oily/greasy scalp thou not recommended for people with dry hair. Separate conditioner is required as it does not provide any conditioning to hair. You can always buy a smaller pack to start with. Worth a try !
