The Corporate Affair - Make up And Hair

Hello Everyone,

Had a busy week with my clientele picking up, hope you guys too had a fruitful week.

Today's post is about one of my client who was going to host her office event which was at Renaissance Hotel Powai. It was more of an event which happens once a year where you felicitate the senior employees.

After speaking to Anisha, never felt like I was speaking to a stranger. Talkative, polite, girly and full of life. Eager to share all the details and open to ideas and suggestions. I loves such kind of clients.  It makes my job easier and does not feel like you are working.

Anisha chose to wear a black saree for this event, she wanted very light and natural make up. After speaking to her, I had a clear idea what exactly she was looking out for. We had an hour on our hand to get her ready.

Decided to pin half her hair up and rest half open (that's how she wanted it to be). Anisha had few dark circles, open pores and blackheads. Concealing all this and getting a flawless skin was important.

So lets check out how did this corporate affair turned out to be :))

The Goa Bride

Hello Everyone,

Goa is special to me as I was born here and have some fond memories of my childhood in my growing up days,  hence I love visiting Goa. It's such a beautiful place.

As mentioned in my earlier post , today I am going to share with you the insight of the Goa Bridal Make up, that I recently did.

After analyzing the skin and hair of the bride to be, I noticed that concealing all those pimple marks, pores and pigmentation would take lot of hard work before the base is ready for the final make up. (Please refer the before picture below to know exactly what I am talking about).

Further on with our bridal discussion, I gave her bridal trial before her wedding and we discussed about her preference in hair and make up. Finally we agreed upon a hairstyle which will be puffed from front and a medium rise bun as she would be taking a dupatta over her head.

Since the bride had a mono lid, I gave her two different eye make up option to choose from. A normal fashion eye make up and the other one had a brightener on her waterline, to make her eyes appear little bigger. She loved the idea of having an illusion of bigger eyes and hence finalized that eye make up look for the actual day.

For lips she wanted to go bold hence we experimented with few bold colors before going ahead with a bright red lipstick to compliment her make up. All the doubts were discussed during the bridal trial so we were very clear what we wanted on the actual day.

The bride had to be ready by 5.30 pm hence we started of at around 3.30 pm in achieving her final look.

Revlon Photo Ready Kajal + Intense Brightener

Hello Friends ,

Just back from my trip to Goa. It was a fun and had a great time. Will share more on this in my upcoming post along with the bridal pictures which I am sure you guys will be eager to see.  Watch this space for more :)

Today I am going to review Revlon Photo Ready Eye Pencils which I purchased few days back but because of the hectic schedule did not get time to review them. Oooops ... better late than never... Right!!!! So lets get started.

Usually when you buy colorful pencils it takes ages to get over and by then there is already a new trend or color in the market that you are eager to buy. The quantity is enough to last long and yet not get the product wasted. What I like about this pencils that it comes with a brightener which is a brilliant concept.
